Bluewater Creek Polo Club was founded in 1980 by
Edward S. Robbins, III, a businessman, and entrepreneur
with businesses located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Located just minutes east of Florence, Alabama, the club is
situated on over 200 acres of manicured fields surrounded
by flexible Centaur fence. Paddocks, regulation 1.5 mile racetrack,
polo practice arena and two world-class regulation polo
fields complete the facility.
Membership to BWC Polo Club is available to not only
polo players and their families, but to others who may wish
to enjoy the Club’s recreational and social amenities.
Polo tournaments and leagues are played throughout our
Spring and Fall Seasons, with Final matches played on
Sunday afternoons, and the playing field is lined with
spectators full of family, friends, and fans. There is never
any charge for spectators, and visitors are always
welcome.
Polo is a fascinating sport and a fascinating society, and
for many, the parties and people watching are as much fun
as the game of polo.
